ABOUT US

The Carrie Bianco Stage School was established in 1985 and teaches the syllabus of the British Theatre Dance Association.

BTDA is an accredited awarding body offering graded and vocational qualifications which are recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examination (Ofqual) and the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET).

We understand that every parent wants the best for their child and that is exactly what we aim to provide. We endeavour to provide well structured classes within a happy and caring environment and strive to achieve the right balance between discipline and fun.

We aim to create happy passionate performers within an environment which encourages independence, self confidence and self esteem. We are very proud that many wonderful memories and lasting friendships have been formed and continue to grow at our school.

Our prices are competitive and our low cost costume hire facility enables our dancers to perform in fabulous costumes without having to buy them.

The Principal of the school has been teaching dance for over 35 years and has been the Principal of her own school since 1985.

With years of performance experience and ongoing training she continues to inspire and encourage children and young people to work hard and reap the benefits when that perseverance evolves into the joy of performance.

The Principal is assisted by Student Teachers, all of whom are trained in dance and/or childcare and are all CRB checked. They are dedicated members of the stage school and their help, especially with the younger children is invaluable.

We have a mirrored dance studio with suitable floor and fixed barres and also have a separate reception, classroom and changing room.
